Flyover Games is an indie studio from Parts Unknown, Michigan, that develops games for mobile and PC platforms. Currently a humble operation, our ultimate goal is becoming a bloated juggernaut of game development. Until then, we'll settle for bringing you the best darn games that we can!
Flyover Games was founded by Steven Zavala in 2013 when he was feeling burnt out on working on other people’s failed projects and felt like making some failures of his very own. He promptly declared himself President-for-Life and rules it with an iron fist to this day. Their first title was Knife That Guy, a mobile arcade-action knife ‘em up expanded from one of Steven’s first college game dev projects. Their followup title was mood-altering arcade puzzle game Pill Popper, which was a less successful attempt at the free-to-play model. After that
After releasing Pill Popper, Flyover Games went on a brief hiatus as Steven went on to pursue gainful full time employment. Flyover Game came out of hiatus when they began work on their current project, the competitive puzzle brawler WaveCrash!!. They have been developing it on and off for three years as their day jobs and other freelance projects allow since late 2015.
